stefanie_bean- In the 2:12 Episode "Fire + Water," Hurley appears in Charlie's vision in a long maroon "biblical" robe. In last week's "Beginning of the End," Hurley shoots baskets against Jack, and wears a long maroon hospital robe.
- Newly-introduced character, anthropologist Charlotte Staples Lewis's name made me laugh, because British fantasist and Christian apologist C.S. Lewis's full name was Clive Staples Lewis.
- Did Locke make it rain again (as he seemed to at the very beginning of Season One?)
- The "flash forwards" are interesting. It seems perfectly plausible that Hurley, for instance, would start to lose his mind again were he to return to "our" world. I got a frisson of pure horror when Matthew Abbadon asked him if he wouldn't want to go to a more "comfortable" institution, all on Oceanic Airlines' tab, of course.
- Skeletal polar bear excavated in Tunisia? Not a time travel story, please ... anything but that. I won't be surprised if they find it has a bullet hole between its eyes, though.
